Stefan Bogdan

Bogdan Stefan is the Head of the Euratom Legal Sector in the Directorate-General for Energy of the European Commission, where he leads the team responsible for the in-house legal advice on the Euratom Treaty and the related secondary legislation. His work covers the full span of Euratom legal practice: the drafting and negotiation of nuclear legislation, providing support on the interpretation of primary and secondary Euratom law and the monitoring of its implementation by Member States and the coordination of infringement and litigation files with the Commission's Legal Service. He also coordinates the legal aspects of international nuclear agreements concluded by Euratom and represents the Commission in various fora such as the OECD/NEA Nuclear Law Committee.
