The energy law

The opening session will revisit the concept of “energy law”, describing the evolution of the Commission, Court of Justice; this will allow us to launch some questions regarding the future.

Governance and another governance: the role of the independent regulator and the European Commission

In this session we will discuss about two different aspects of the Winter Package:
1) the new role of the Commission in ensuring the joint achievement of the 2030 policy targets (RES, CO2, Efficiency); the governance of the Energy Communities (what makes a community an “Energy Community”?
2) proposal to amend ACER’s regulation bringing it back to the area of the ordinary model of the European agency.
